SYON PARK HOUSE, 14th MAY 2025

The Arts Society Evesham and Pershore’s visit to Syon House, commonly described as one of London’s hidden treasures, will take place on Wednesday 14th May 2025. This promises to be an exciting opportunity to visit an exceptional property which is known for its lavish interiors, extensive landscaped gardens and a famous Great Conservatory designed by Charles Fowler in the 19th Century. Steeped in British history, the site combines an opulent exterior, classical interiors and historic parkland. Syon House is the London home of the Duke of Northumberland and has been in the Percy family for over 400 years. Built on the site of a late medieval abbey, Syon boasts one of the finest Robert Adam interiors in the country and has a magnificent collection of paintings and furniture. There is plenty to explore in the 200 acres of parkland and Capability Brown designed gardens including a unique tidal meadow, a vast grassland that floods at high tide creating a special habitat for wildlife.
