What We Do

  • Lectures – We hold lectures in the evening each month throughout the year with the exception of March, July and August. Click on the ‘Up Coming Talks’ icons (to the right) as well as the ‘Talks’ menu (above) for more details.. The venue is The Henrician Evesham, Victoria Road, Evesham WR11 4QH. Coffee and drinks are available to purchase from 6:45 pm and lectures start at 7:45 pm.
  • Arts Volunteering – previously known as Young Arts, has been renamed to encompass a wider range of community-based art-related activities in the local area.‘The aim of Arts Volunteering projects is to provide access to the arts where communities would otherwise have little or no opportunity to engage with these due to financial deprivation or other circumstances.’The Evesham and Pershore Society will support two art-based projects a year.
  • Visits – We arrange visits to places of historic and cultural interest.
  • Special Interest Days – a Special Interest Day is usually arranged annually.
  • Heritage Volunteering – conserves and explains our national heritage.

Membership entitles you to free admission to all lectures in the relevant membership year, which runs from 1st July to 30th June, receipt of The Arts Society journal and the ability to participate in activities such as Visits and Special Interest Days. To obtain an application form click on Join.
